Blush Rose Weddding at Saybrook Point Inn & Spa

I was so grateful to be a part of this sweet couple Cate & Joe's wedding team for their July wedding at Saybrook Point Inn & Spa.

Cate wanted to incorporate blush and white Roses with her light blue wedding items; her engagement ring, bridesmaids dresses and pretty wedding favors, and Roses were just perfect for her romantic summer wedding!

When we met Cate's mom at our studio, we were asked to make Gardenias corsages to feel her mother's presence (Cate's grandmother) who couldn't be there. Gardenias were very special flowers for her as her mother's wedding bouquet was Gardenias.

Since then I was growing the Gardenias bushes in my garden, and in the early morning of the big day, I was so happy to see that a few Gardenias opened beautifully. I picked them carefully and made a Gardenia corsage for Cate's mom - they were so fresh and smelled heavenly. I also added a couple of Gardenias for her wedding bouquet to make it more special, and it was a great surprise to her :)

It was a very sweet, romantic, and intimate summer wedding on the water. All images were captured magically by a talented photographer Amma Rhea Photography!
